Sixth Annual Motorcycle Awareness Ride
Often after a crash involving a motorcycle, the driver of the other vehicle will be heard saying, “I never saw the motorcycle!” On May 5th, 2013, several area motorcycle riding organizations will join together to lead a safety-awareness ride through the Ozarks. The theme of the ride is “Can You See Me Now?”
Date of Awareness ride is May 5th, 2013. Route starting point will still be at Remingtons and it will end at the AL Post 639.
Brenda and David Pantleo will provide BBQ and beans after the ride, they will
bring their own people to help with the food.
The ride starts at Remington’s parking lot off Republic Road in Springfield. Registration begins at 12:30 pm and the bikes go out at 1:30 pm. Springfield Retreads
Six hundred motorcyclists are expected to participate in the ride, which starts at Remington’s parking lot off Republic Road. There will be food and drinks available at the end point and music. Triple Shot band will play at the post. A bucket for donations will be passed at the end of the ride.
